According to Wikipedia, Physiotherapy is “one of the allied health professions that, by using mechanical force and movements (bio mechanics or kinesiology, manual therapy, exercise therapy and electro therapy, remediates impairments and promotes mobility & functions”

A physiotherapist, thus by virtue of his knowledge of body bio mechanics and human kinesiology ,brings relief to his patients suffering from pain and other impairments arising out of compromised human musculoskeletal functions.

The profession of a physiotherapist thus uplifts the quality of lives of the patients undergoing the physical therapy. The demand of trained and appropriately qualified physiotherapists has been on constant rise, thanks to the physical complacency that the modern urban lifestyle has given birth to.

Employment opportunities exist all across the world in the areas of sports injury, post operative rehabilitations, musculoskeletal degeneration due to old age and many more. Putting it simply, there is no dearth of opportunities for a qualified physiotherapist.
