DAKSHTA organised its 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝/𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 on 27 June 2023 at VGI Campus, where in the selected students of all the departments, trainers/facilitators of team DAKSHTA , coordinators & supporting members were awarded the certificates for their performances & support during the session 2022-23.
The occasion was graced by the Director- VGI Campus, COO- VGI, Principal & Heads of various Departments, Dean - Employability Program, General Manager- Student Welfare, Head-Outreach & PR, Chief Warden, Chief Proctor, Senior Administrative officer, Faculty members from all the departments & staff of VGI. Student volunteers & Team-DAKSHTA managed the whole event successfully under the guidance of Chairperson-DAKSHTA.
Highlight of the event was 2 performing artists of ‘𝐀𝐍𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃’ (a musical band of visually impaired people). They mesmerized the audience with their performances, and sang not only regional songs, sufi, classical, retro, but also bollywood mash to captivate the audience of all the ages. The original compositions of the founder artist of the ANHAD band, his shayari & his sense of humour instilled in our young minds, the zeal to be ‘DAKSH’ in their own field. Management of VGI keeps on promoting & supporting such philanthropic activities to develop HOLISTIC Personality of their students—which is the aim of DAKSHTA.
