On Engineer's Day, September 15th, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at VGI (Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions) orchestrated an inspiring JunkYard Competition known as TECHEXPO. This event celebrated the principles of recycling, reusing, and reducing waste, underscoring the importance of sustainable engineering practices. A total of 11 enthusiastic teams hailing from diverse departments participated in this engaging competition, presenting their remarkable projects born out of ingenious creativity. The students exhibited immense dedication and patience, transforming their innovative ideas into tangible realities.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our honourable chairman, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐥 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥, and our esteemed COO, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚. Their support and encouragement added a significant dimension to the occasion.
The successful execution of TECHEXPO was made possible through the invaluable guidance of our Dean of Academics, Dr. Amit Agarwal, and the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Bibek Kumar. Their unwavering commitment to nurturing innovation is truly commendable.
We were privileged to have a distinguished panel of judges, including Dr. Hina Chadha, Mr. Avdhesh Tyagi, Dr. Ajay Varshney, Dr. Prachi Tripathi, Mr. Prabodh Dwivedi, and Mr. Hitendra Chaudhary. Their expertise and discernment played a pivotal role in evaluating the projects and recognizing outstanding achievements.
The event was expertly moderated by Ms. Rachana S. Sisodia, whose guidance ensured the smooth flow of the competition and its proceedings.
