Every year this day is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and efficiency, and to encourage people to use less energy. The 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐫.
