To bridge academic learning with industry exposure, 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 recently organized an industrial visit for B.Pharma students to Patanjali Food and Herbal Park in Haridwar. The excursion was led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐥 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥 - 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 - 𝐂𝐎𝐎, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒.𝐏. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐲 - 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐆𝐈, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐚 - 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲.
A group of 43 enthusiastic 1st and 2nd-year B.Pharma students participated, gaining valuable insights into Ayurveda and herbal medicine. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭, 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒.𝐏. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐤𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐠 (Head of Training and Placements), provided a unique opportunity to see the practical applications of their theoretical knowledge.
The visit to Patanjali Food and Herbal Park offered a comprehensive understanding of Ayurvedic product production processes. Special thanks to dedicated faculty members 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢 𝐒𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐚 for their instrumental support.
This enriching experience broadened students' horizons and reinforced VGI's commitment to holistic and practical education.
